Ooni commiserates with Aregbesola over the demise of his mother

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on Tuesday commiserated with the Osun State governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola over the death of his mother fondly called mama Olobi, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola

He described her as an epitome of motherhood worthy of emulations by any reasonable​ woman with desire of raising successful children through whom she would be forever celebrated.

Ooni Ogunwusi who is currently on a private visit in London stated  this in a statement by his Director of Media and Public Affairs, Comrade Moses Olafare urged  the good people of the state and Yoruba race in general to join Governor Aregbesola and siblings in the celebration of their mother who had laboured through the ups and downs to raised him with discpline, virtues and godliness, which reflects in the life the governor.

“Mama Olobi, you are such a wonderful mother that will forever be celebrated by all and emulated by other good mothers who desire to raise children that will be blessings to the society like your children one of whom is the current governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola who has always conducted himself in an enviable manner reflecting ​ the godliness, discipline and good virtues with which you had raised him. He is indeed an Omoluwabi per excellence”, the statement stressed, adding that “May your​ soul rest in peace and may the Almighty Allah uphold the Governor as he continues to take Osun to  greater heights”.
