Only good contents should be accepted by music listeners — Ikayh

Fast-rising music star and songwriter, Ikechukwu Ejiofor, popularly known as Ikayh has said music listeners and enthusiast across African and beyond should only embrace good contents that would enrich and add more values to their lives.

The artiste, who said he’s ready to storm the industry with songs laced with rich contents, hinted that artistes, who lacked good lyrical contents would find it hard to throw such songs at people once they know listeners may reject such songs.

Ikayh said he is confident of breaking into the music industry said he’s one of those artistes that has a knack for good music and this “always reflects in his  music delivery, which he said would be his mainstay.”

Speaking on what propelled his music career, the Anambra State-born singer recalled that his journey started shortly after he won a talent competition back in his school days, adding that music for him is a passion and he would “do everything possible to show the world that he has what it takes to rise to the top of his game.”

With many artistes battling for the same space in the industry, Ikayh said he was unfazed by the competition, pointing out that people love quality and they go for what they want when they see it. “If you have what the people want, they will keep patronising you. That said, the sky is big enough for all of us to fly,” he said.

Speaking further on his plans , the Hitz Entertainment singer and songwriter, who said he admired the works of Adekunle Gold, Burna Boy, Ajebutter 22 among others disclosed that his ability to switch uniquely from Afro-fusion, Afro-hop, Hip hop and highlife genres would help his rise in the industry.
