An undergraduate student of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has reportedly lost his life while two others were critically injured during a clash at one Games centre in Ogbomoso, a few hours after the convocation ceremony.

The 2024 edition of the Convocation ceremony of the institution was held at the University main campus on Monday.

The deceased and some of his colleagues as reliably gathered, retired to the Game centre for relaxation after the ceremony.

It was gathered that there was an intense argument among students at the Game centre that forced the owner of the place to seek intervention of the Monitoring unit of the Oyo Police Command.
