A single container fell on two vehicles at NITEL Junction, along Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja, on Saturday, at about 3 p.m.
Sunday Tribune learnt that the container fell on a Villager Space bus and a Camry car.
A LASTMA officer working at the junction at the time of the accident, who did not want his name in print, told Sunday Tribune that the lone occupant, the driver of the car was killed as his car caught fire.
The driver of the bus could not escape due to the pressure of the container on the bus.
But the two occupants of the Camry car were lucky to have survived the accident.
The body of the yet-to-be-known victim of the accident has been deposited at LASUTH General Hospital Ikeja mortuary.
According to the source, the couple who were occupants of the car just did their engagement last week and were preparing for their forthcoming wedding ceremony.
The container fell on the booth of their car but they came out unhurt and were seen calling their families and friends praising to God for sparing their lives.
