Voters in Oba Akoko and Ikare Akokoon Akoko Southwest and Akoko North East local government areas of Ondo State expressed satisfaction with the early arrival of officials and materials for the ongoing governorship election in the state.

Voting commenced early with the arrival of materials at unit 3, post office ward 14 Oba Akoko, Akoko South West, as voters were thrilled to exercise their voting rights.

According to 86-year-old Pa, who spoke to Tribune Online, officials and materials arrived before 7 am and he was pleased with the arrangement of the process.

“The INEC people arrived here before 7 am and we only waited for the process to commence, I came out early because of my challenge, I can’t walk and I am having issues with my sight and waiting to be accredited and I have voted. It was good and smooth,” He stated.

An INEC official who refused to mention her name said the process is seamless as they have no issues with network failures and all machines are working perfectly.
