Ondo Poll: Campaign group raises the alarm over plan to stop Oke

The Olusola Oke Campaign Organisation, on Tuesday, raised the alarm  over plans by some people  to instigate the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), against its governorship candidate, Olusola Oke, to prevent him from participating in the forthcoming governorship  election in the state, on November 26.

The campaign group, specifically,   condemned   some  chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the country, as the arrowhead of the plot to stop Oke from contesting the election.

Speaking during a press conference in Akure,  the Ondo State capital, the Director-General of the organisation, Mr Bola Ilori, said the plot to stop Oke from contesting the governorship election, is hatched  to  pave way for  Rotimi Akeredolu of the  All Progressives congress (APC), who is also contesting for the state governorship  seat

“The plan of these people is to prevent  Oke from contesting the election because of their candidate.”
