Ondo guber: Senator Adegbonmire congratulates Aiyedatiwa on election victory

The lawmaker representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State on his victory in Saturday’s gubernatorial election.

Adegbonmire in a congratulatory message hailed Governor Aiyedatiwa for his doggedness and commitment to strong democratic practices.

Adegbonmire said “Your Excellency, I wish to heartily congratulate and rejoice with you on your well-deserved re-election as the Executive Governor of Ondo State. Your victory is a testimony of your excellent performance in office in the last few months of your stewardship.

“It is an affirmation of your sterling leadership qualities and confirmation of your outstanding performance and delivery of the dividends of democracy to the people.”

Adegbonmire commended Independent National Electoral Commission( INEC) for providing a level playing field for all the candidates and for conducting a transparent election.

He also commended the security agencies for keeping the “troublemakers at bay and ensuring peaceful conduct during the polls” the statement read.
