Ondo guber: PDP holds local govt congress Saturday

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will hold a congress of local government area national delegates in Ondo State on Saturday.

The congress is to elect one national delegate per local government area in the state.

Consequently, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party has approved the nomination of some members to serve on the congress electoral committee.

The committee is led by the Minority Leader in the House of Representatives, Hon. Kingsley Chinda, as chairman.

The members are Hon. Kalu Uduma, Dr. Taiwo Adeniyi, Abdulhamid Yusuf, and Ismaila Alkali as secretary.

A statement issued on Thursday by Debo Ologunagba, National Publicity Secretary, said the NWC charged all governorship aspirants, leaders, critical stakeholders, and members of the PDP in Ondo State to take note and be guided accordingly.

The congress is scheduled to take place at the INEC Collation Center in each of the local government areas in the state.
