Ondo guber: NNPP begins sales of form April 8

Published by

The National Publicity Secretary of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Yakubu Shendam, has said the party will commence sales of nomination and interest forms for its governorship aspirants on Monday, April 8, 2024.

Shendam, in an interview with the Tribune Online on Sunday, said the party is set to cause an upset during the election as it has become a beautiful bride among political stakeholders in the state who are frustrated about the style of governance that parties like the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have offered the state in recent years.

The party’s spokesperson said while the nomination form is N10 million, the expression of interest form will be N1 million.

“We will open the sales of nomination and expression of interest forms by April 8, 2024. Our nomination form is N10 million, while the expression of interest form is N1 million.

“NNPP will cause a surprise in the Ondo gubernatorial election. Many APC governorship aspirants who have fears of picking their party’s ticket are already approaching us.

“So far, three are with us, and more are even from the PDP. In fact, some have indicated interest in buying our forms,” Shendam told Tribune Online.
