Ondo APC primary: Extend olive branch to opponents, group hails Aiyedatiwa’s victory

A sociopolitical group, Eyitemi Foundation and Convener, Ilaje For Governor Campaign, has congratulated Ondo state Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for winning the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket.

The Chairman of the group, Prince Samuel Malumi, signed on behalf of the group, said Aiyedatiwa’s victory was well-deserved, assuring that the governor would not disappoint the people of the state if elected in the November governorship election.

He appreciated members of the party for the confidence reposed in Aiyedatiwa assuring that the governor would perform beyond expectation.

He described the Governor as a worthy winner, saying it shares in its vision to transform Ondo State but urged the governor to extend olive branch to all contestants a

Malumi expressed the readiness of the group to work with other groups to ensure victory for Aiyedatiwa in the November governorship election.

“I heartily congratulate His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his victory at the just concluded All Progressive Congress Gubernatorial primary election for Ondo state.

“The keenly contested process of picking a flag bearer for our great party shows that APC as a party has enthroned a transparent and internal democratic process.

“It is what our state now desperately needs for its much-desired rebirth and continuous.

“The beauty of it all is that the party has displayed maturity, strength, and poise and this is now the time for all aspirants and other stakeholders in the party to work together as a team as we embark on this all-important mission to develop Ondo state.
