The supporters who made this threat in Ikare Akoko, Akoko North East Local Government Area of the State, during a rally, expressed their displeasure over the outcome of the party’s primary in the area.
The protesters called on the Senatorial aspirant to dump APC for another party, saying the party has displayed there was no internal democracy within the party in the State.
A leader of the protesters, Tunde Babalola, said they would impress it on their principal, Foluso, to quit APC for another party where their political destiny could be fulfilled and guaranteed.
Babalola said: “We will use all means to convince him to join another party where there is a genuine internal democracy and where we can realize our dreams.”
“it is so unfortunate to realise that APC is a party of deceit and the party has been hijacked by musketeers and reactionary forces who are bent in destroying the strong democratic foundations laid by the founding fathers of the party.”

“APC will meet strong opposition from us, as we will go all out to campaign and mobilise support for any party who welcome Foluso and other aggrieved APC aspirants into their folds.”
Adefemi however, said he would make his decision known to his supporters after meeting with the national leaders of APC over the situation within APC in the State.
Twelve aspirants of APC in Akoko Northeast/Northwest have also insisted that there was no primary in the area and expressed dismay over the statement credited to the party’s chairman, Ade Adetimehin that primary election was held in the area.
