Ondo APC crisis: Kekemeke evading service to appear before committee ―Chair

THE investigating Committee set up All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state to investigate the allegations levied against the embattled Chairman of the Party in the state, Hon Isaacs Kekemeke accused the chairman of evading service to appear before the panel.

The state Publicity Secretary of the Party and the Chairman of the Committee, Abayomi Adesanya, who disclosed this said the embattled Chairman refused to accept the letter of invitation sent to him twice.

“Kekemeke vehemently refused to accept or receive the invitation sent to him on two occasions.

“Two attempts were made to deliver the invitation letter to Mr Kekemeke.

“The first attempt was by the Party’s clerk Mr Ige Akingbagboun and Mr Felix Aborowa, who were in Kekemeke’s law office (Atimati Chambers) on Monday, June 5th, 2017 to deliver the letter.

He said further, “We also attempted to deliver the letter by courier (DHL) service, ACCOUNT/REF: CAHSAKW01/2017/06/05 and WAYBILL: 19 0135 7474, to him (Kekemeke) on same day, Monday, June 5th, 2017, but he refused to accept it from the DHL delivery man, and none of the workers in Atimati Chambers accepted the parcel.

“Kekemeke should take note that, he will be made to also answer the allegation of masterminding the assault of lawful Party officials at his law office this day June 5th, 2017,  when he appears before our committee, as this conduct may constitute gross misconduct”.

But while reacting, Kekemeke denied receiving any letter from the Committee saying “nobody has come to serve or give me any letter”
