Ondo: APC aspirant, Ohunyeye, mourns Akintelure, suspends political activities

A frontline governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress  (APC), Felix Olamide Ohunyeye, has expressed sadness over the sudden death of a co-aspirant, Dr. Paul Akintelure, saying all his political activities have been put on hold.

A statement personally signed by Ohunyeye stated that among the political engagements that will be put on hold are a scheduled media parley and a tour of some wards across the state.

He said , “I received the sad news of the sudden demise of an astute political leader and an illustrious son of Ondo State, Dr. Paul Akintelure, this with disbelief, a rude shock, and a heavy heart.

“Indeed, Dr. Akintelure was a perfect gentleman without blemish, both as a political icon and a foremost medical practitioner.

“In his lifetime, Dr. Akintelure demonstrated uncommon determination and resilience towards the development of Ondo State and its people.
