Ondo: Akeredolu will turn things around – Lasun

DEPUTY Speaker of the House of Representatives; Hon Sulaimon Lasun Yussuff, on Monday congratulated the winner of the just concluded Ondo State governorship election, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN).
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Speaker, Mr Wole Oladimeji, noted that, the result of the election, which was officially declared by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC showed that it was a battle that was vigorously fought by All Progressives Congress against the incumbent PDP ruling party and some forces
According to the statement, “This victory only proved that APC is accepted in the South West‎ and that Ondo people have also decided to join the ruling party so that the state could move forward.
“Akeredolu is somebody I know too well whose personality and his wealth of experience would turn things around in the state for better,” he stated.
Honourable Lasun however, said that Akeredolu’s victory is a sign of something good is coming to the stated.
He assured the people of the state that Chief Akeredolu is a man with good pedigree capable of bequeathing good legacy to the state and improve the lives of the people.
He however, called on the people of Ondo State to give him the needed support so that meaningful development could be achieved in the state.
