On the ninth National Assembly’s vacation

THE ninth National Assembly was inaugurated barely two months ago. Now that each member has collected a whooping sum of over N8m, they are embarking on a two months vacation after having done nothing so far except the hush-hush ministerial screening of President Muhammadu Buhari’s 43 ministerial nominees most of whom simply took a bow without much ado, cleared and certified even without portfolios. Efficiency has already been sacrificed on the altar of ineptitude.
