On IPOB, terrorism

If the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is labeled a terrorist group by the Federal Government, then other organisations that are deadlier than IPOB should also be proscribed.

The deadliest among these groups is the Fulani herdsmen. This group of people not only destroys farmlands but also rapes the wives and children of the innocent. They kill and maim people at will. Their activities can spell doom for the nation than IPOB, as the herdsmen destroy both economic and subsistence crops in large quantities.

This can lead to famine and can, by extension, lead to the death of a large number of people as a result of famine. Others in this classification include the Niger Delta militants, the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and the Arewa youths. Why therefore should IPOB be the only group that was singled out as a terrorist group? Till now we have not been told the number of people that have been killed by the group.

This goes further to confirm that there are two sets of constitutions in this nation: one for the North and the other for the rest of us.
