On this note, I write to appeal to our politicians and electorate alike to play the rules according to the game. More importantly, I want to focus my attention on Ekiti State where election will hold in July. Various permutations are ongoing by the political parties to outwit others in order to occupy the Oke Ayoba in October this year.
Based on the plethora of insinuations arising from campaign across the state, there is the need for all the political parties not to leave the monitoring and policing of the election in the hand of the security agencies alone.

The above has become imperative going by the much taunted federal government might. But one thing is sacrosanct; the power of the people is mightier than the federal might.
Finally, I want to enjoin the independent observers to be truly independent and most importantly, the electoral umpire, INEC, should allow every vote to count by not allowing themselves to be used to truncate the wish of the people.
