Omodewu died when most needed — APC’s Ariwoola

Published by

The late Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barrister Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, has been described as a unifier and strategist of the party who died at a time when his wealth of experience was mostly needed for the uplift of younger ones not only in Itesiwaju Local government but the entire Oke Ogun and Oyo State at large.

This was declared by the candidate of APC in the 2023 State Assembly Elections from Iseyin/Itesiwaju Constituency, Hon. Abdulrasheed Olanrewaju Ariwoola in his condolence message to family, friends, associates and the entire members of the party in Oyo State on Tuesday.

According to Hon. Ariwoola, death no doubt is inevitable but Barrister Omodewu was snatched away from the youths, particularly from Oke Ogun zone being a leader with listening ears and amazing interest in the uplift of younger politicians from the zone.

While narrating his last visit to the deceased at Law School in Abuja, Hon. Ariwoola stated that Barrister Omodewu was not only a leader that will forever be proud of but a father whose regular and timely advice in his political journey will be missed.

Sympathizing with the family of the late APC chairman in Oyo State, Hon. Ariwoola said “My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. Your husband, father, uncle and brother, Barrister Omodewu was an amazing person who made lasting impacts on so many lives. May the beautiful memories you shared bring you comfort and peace.”

He expressed heartfelt condolences to friends, APC; leaders, executives and members while praying to God to afford them the fortitude to bear the great loss.
