Newly-elected Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, has appointed Dr. Otive Igbuzor as his Chief of Staff (CoS) and Mr. Yomi Odunuga as Special Adviser, Media, and Publicity.
He also announced the appointment of Ms. Lara Owoeye-Wise as his Senior Special Assistant on Electronic and the New Media.
In a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists on Thursday, Omo-Agege added that the appointments were based on merit and took immediate effect.
The statement described Igbuzor as the Founding Executive Director of the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy, and Development and a one-time International Head of campaigns of ActionAid International and Country Director of ActionAid Nigeria.

Igbuzor was also a Commissioner in the Police Service Commission.
Odunuga, who is the new Special Adviser, Media, and Publicity, until his appointment was the Abuja Bureau Chief and Deputy Editor of The Nation newspapers.
Owoeye-Wise, who’s a graduate of Religion and Philosophy from the University of Jos, Plateau State, is a multiple award-winning journalists with over two decades experience both in the print and the electronic media.
She was a pioneer staff of the resuscitated Minaj Broadcast International and was Deputy Head of Presentation before her new appointment.
