Earlier, Omisore had visited Boluwaduro Local Government, where he paid homage to Owa of Otan Ayegbaju, Oba Lukman Adesola Fadipe, who gave him his royal blessings, and promised his support for his governorship ambition, saying, we have come a long way, Omisore is familiar with Otan Ayegbaju, he visits us frequently. Our desire is that Omisore becomes the governor, but most importantly, may it align with the will of God for Osun State.”
Omisore left Otan Ayegbaju for Iresi where a large crowd of people ushered him into the palace of Oba Sikiru Adeseun, the Oluresi of Iresi, who also gave his royal blessings to Omisore’s ambition of becoming the Osun State governor, while he also waited at the neighbouring towns of Eripa, and Iree, where he paid homage to the family of late S. M. Afolabi, a former Minister of Internal Affairs, after which he left for Ada en route Iragbiji,
Exiting Iree en route Boripe Local Government, it was a hectic session for security men who patiently and carefully managed the excited crowd, who defied the rain to wait for Omisore’s arrival, and on sighting him, formed a circle around his vehicle, rendering different songs to welcome him into their midst.

The elated Omisore, introduced to the people on his campaign tour by a national leader of SDP, Dr Yemi Farounbi, thanked them for their patience, and endurance in the last eight years of the Governor Rauf Aregbesola-led APC government in Osun State, assuring them that the people who had been denied their basic rights for many years would be freed and made happy by the SDP government.
Omisore also accompanied by Dr Olu Agunloye, a national leader of SDP, state party chairman, Dr Bayo Faforiji, and other party chieftains, promised the people of a government committed to human capital development, payment of outstanding workers salaries and pensioners’ arrears, likewise provision of gainful employment for youths and other categories of people in Osun State.
“The SDP leadership in Osun state will be committed to implementing immediate programmes that can alleviate poverty and economic tensions, this in the context of medium and longer-term actions for sustainability. W have a manifesto that has represented our shared vision of good governance and human dignity, a just society in the brotherhood of peace and humanity. These and more we are set to implement if elected the governor of Osun State,” Omisore said.
