Senator Iyiola Omisore
The Osun State chairman of the Social Democratic party (SDP), Dr Bayo Faforiji, will lead other party stalwarts, including the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore, to the Osun East senatorial campaign rally, which holds in Ilesa today.
The spokesman of SDP in Osun State, Mr Taiwo Akeju, who disclosed this in a release on Friday, said, the campaign rally was in continuation of the party’s drive towards meeting the people of Osun State and to seek their support and vote in the September 22 governorship election in the state.
Akeju said, the campaign rally which holds at Oke Ola Isokun Roundabout in Ilesa, is expected to begin at 10.00 a.m. prompt.
According to him, dignitaries expected at the campaign rally include Senator Omisore, his running mate, Alhaji Azeez Yemi Lawal, party chieftains, Ambassador Yemi Farounbi, Dr Chief (Mrs) Remi Olowu, members of the state executives of SDP, other party leaders, members, among others.
