Emir of Zazzau, HRH, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamali, CFR, has penned a heartwarming appreciation letter to the Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi.

Zazzau Emir described the visit as historical and revealed Oluwo was the first monarch to be honoured and celebrated as such in the lifetime of Zaria.

The message sent to Oluwo by the Emir of Zazzau reads “Your Majesty, Good morning. Trust you and yours are very well. Glad to hear that you arrived safely and in good health. Alhamdulillah.

“I do not have any suitable phrases to express our appreciation and delight on this historic visit to the Zazzau Emirate. I’m pleased to say that you are the first monarch in our lifetime to be celebrated this way in zaria. Alhamdulillah. Thank you and profound regards. Kabiyesi”.

During the grand reception, a durbar was organized with over 100 horses. The visit will re-engineer Nigeria’s integration and further lubricate national cohesion.

Oba Akanbi called on Traditional Rulers to conduct their respective thrones towards promoting national unity and integration.
