Olubadan, Olugbon, others condole Ajimobi, Kola-Daisi families over Bisola’s passing

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin; the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, Oba Francis Alao; and former political appointees have condoled with the families of the former governor of the state, the late Chief Abiola Ajimobi, and Chief Kola Daisi over the loss of their 42-year-old daughter and wife, Mrs. Bisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi.

In their separate condolence messages, Oba Olakulehin described her death as shocking and a big blow to two prominent families of Ibadanland.

The statement described the deceased as a very enterprising, hardworking wife and mother who initiated several businesses and supported worthy causes. It prayed for her soul to rest in peace and for Almighty God to grant both families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Also, Oba Alao stated that the sad news, coming just five years after the passing of the patriarch of the family, the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Chief Abiola Ajimobi, is distressing.

The statement read, “I also commiserate with her husband, Chief Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and their children, as well as Chief Kola Daisi and the entire Kola Daisi family, over this unfortunate incident.

“This sudden demise has brought sorrow to the hearts of friends, relatives, and well-wishers of the esteemed Ajimobi and Kola Daisi families.

“Bisola’s smile lit up the world of those around her, and she carried the family’s nobility and beauty with grace. She exuded love, kindness, and lived a peaceful life.

“I pray that God comforts Chief Mrs. Ajimobi, her children, and family members during this difficult time. I also pray for the Kola Daisi family, that Almighty Allah strengthens them in this trying period and grants them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

“Though she did not live as long as desired, I urge the family to find solace in the good life she lived, remembering that a short but impactful life is invaluable.”

Additionally, former political appointees under the aegis of The Ajumose Marines have expressed their heartfelt condolences to Dr. Florence Ajimobi and the Ajimobi and Kola Daisi families at large on the passing of their principal’s eldest child, Bisola Kola-Daisi, at the untimely age of 42.

Mr. Olalekan Alli, former Secretary to the State Government, speaking on behalf of the group, expressed the widespread shock and dismay among members upon hearing the sad news of her passing on Thursday morning.

Alli noted that Bisola’s death, coming at a time when her mother, the wife of the late former governor Ajimobi, was just adjusting to and coming to terms with her husband’s passing, is a very devastating occurrence.

“Death is a debt we all owe, but this one is too sudden, as she was cut down in her prime. For us, it is a bitter pill to swallow, and we remain in a state of shock over this sad development.”

“This was totally unexpected, and we are numbed by the news. Our prayer is for the peaceful rest of her soul and for Almighty God, in His infinite mercy, to comfort the Ajimobi and Daisi families.”

Bisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest child of the late former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, died in the United Kingdom on Thursday morning. She was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi and had three children.

She worked with the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu, as a Special Adviser.
