Olubadan-designate, Oba Olakulehin, attends first religious function after nomination

On Sunday, Olubadan designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin attended the first religious function at St Peters Cathedral, Aremo in the Ibadan North East local government area.

Oba Olakulehin attended the service with members of his immediate family, friends and associates.

Oba Olakulehin was making his second public appearance with the church attendance.

His first appearance was during his nomination by the Olubadan in Council at Oja” ba palace, Ibadan.

In a telephone conversation with the Nigerian Tribune, his son, Prince Olasunbo Owolabi said, “Baba was in the church today.

“Baba attended the service at Saint Peters Cathedral Aremo, Ibadan.

Nigerian Tribune reported that last week, the Olubadan-designate received on a courtesy visit from the Otun Iyalode of Ibadanland and her team.

It was also reported that the state government has confirmed the receipt of his nomination letter as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Segun Olayiwola confirmed this in a telephone chat.
