Olowu of Owu, Femi Emmanuel, Oladosu to dissect Nigeria’s retrogression on Boiling Point

The reality of Nigeria’s continued retrogression as a nation, despite the much-publicized Global Ranking of Praying Nations, which puts Nigeria as the second most prayerful country, will be the focus of discussion at the monthly discussion programme, Boiling Point.

Discussants at this month’s edition, scheduled to be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, are two eminent clerics from the Christian and Islamic divides, Pastor Femi Emmanuel and Prof. Afis Ayinde Oladosu.

Boiling Point Arena, the 13th in the monthly series of the online interview discourse, will be held via Google Meet on Sunday and is expected to be transmitted live by an Abeokuta-based radio station, Sweet 107.1FM, for the two-hour duration from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The once-in-a-month current affairs programme, with an incredibly large online following, is the brainchild of the initiator and convener, Dr Ayo Arowojolu, a media professional with 33 years of varied work experience spanning the media, banking, and education sectors.

The duo is also expected to walk the global audience through Nigeria’s journey to nationhood and the several phases of the country’s development, as well as point out the spiritual dimensions and diagnosis of our retrogression as a nation.

Pencilled as keynote speaker at the interview session is one of Nigeria’s foremost monarchs, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Prof Saka Matemilola, in his capacity as Chairman, Boiling Point Council of Royals and Elders.

According to a statement by the Chairman, Organising Committee for the programme, Mr. Eddy Ademosu, one of Nigeria’s notable public relations icons, the interview discourse will in particular point the way forward for the country in furtherance of regaining its once-enviable status as African’s giant.
