Olopade backs Gov Abiodun on redevelopment of Ibara GRA

Chief Bukola Olopade, the Managing Director of Nilayo Sports Management Limited and Asoju Oba of Egbaland, has expressed his support for Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun’s ambitious plans to redevelop the Ibara Government Reservation Area (GRA) in Ogun State.

Olopade praised the governor’s visionary leadership and commitment to improving the lives of the state’s residents.

He commended Governor Abiodun for his bold initiative to revitalize the Ibara GRA and the Government Housing Units at Idi Aba, among other areas, as part of efforts to transform Ogun State.

Olopade emphasized that the redevelopment project, covering 40 hectares in Abeokuta, will create modern, smart cities that offer a holistic living and working environment.

Olopade highlighted the inclusion of 4 to 5-bedroom housing units and world-class infrastructure as a testament to Governor Abiodun’s dedication to excellence and modern urban living.

He also noted the historical significance of the Ibara GRA, which has been a key residential area in Abeokuta since the establishment of Ogun State in 1976.

The Asoju Oba of Egbaland praised the government’s decision to rejuvenate this prime real estate space, stating that it will unlock its potential and create value for the people of Ogun State.

He lauded the government’s use of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) to drive its ISEYA initiatives, emphasizing that the project will create approximately 20,000 direct and indirect jobs within the construction value chain, showcasing the administration’s commitment to job creation and economic development.

Olopade also highlighted Governor Abiodun’s directive to prioritize the housing needs of civil servants, offering flexible options like rent-to-own, outright purchase, and mortgage facilities.

He praised the inclusive strategy, which ensures that public servants across different income levels can benefit from the new housing schemes, enhancing their welfare and productivity.

In conclusion, Olopade commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his magnanimity and empathy, stating that his administration continues to set a high standard in governance and urban development.

He expressed confidence that Ogun State will serve as a model for other states to emulate, thanks to the governor’s proactive approach and commitment to creating a better future for its residents.
