Okowa consoles Tinubu over son’s death

DELTA State governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has expressed sorrow over the death of Jide Tinubu, first son of the All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, Senator Bola Tinubu.

Governor Okowa, in a condolence message to the Tinubu family signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu, described the late Jide Tinubu as a gentleman and reputable lawyer was passionately devoted to his career.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I identify with the Tinubu family at this trying period.

“It is painful to lose one’s child but we are comforted with the fact that he lived a quiet but eventful life,” he noted.

Governor Okowa prayed God Almighty to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

“I believe in your capacity to overcome this painful lose. May the Lord grant you and your family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” he said
