Real estate entrepreneur and philanthropist, Ambassador Babatunde Adeyemo, has announced the provision of support to the family of late Ogun State-based journalist, Com. Wale Adewunmi.
The support provided by Adeyemo under the auspices of Oko Opo Foundation includes the provision of free medicare to them for the next 12 months, N25,000 stipend to the deceased’s widow, Mrs Titilope Adewunmi, for six months alongside the food items provided during a condolence visit to the family’s residence in Obantoko, Abeokuta on Sunday.
Adeyemo had earlier pledged to shoulder the burden of providing education to Adewunmi’s first child, the 16-year-old Miss Mokeseoluwa, up to the university level.
He was accompanied on the visit by some members of the management and directors of the foundation, including his wife, Mrs Titilayo Adeyemo.
He also urged the widow not to despair over the demise of her husband, encouraging her to take solace in the faith that the departed journalist would find eternal peace in the Lord.
Adeyemo further described the deceased as an enterprising journalist, a loving husband and caring father to his wife and beautiful children.
