OJEZ group honours Ken Caleb Olumese with special recognition award

The atmosphere at O’Jez Entertainment Hub in Lagos was electric as dignitaries, entertainment icons, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate a living legend, Ken Calebs Olumese. The occasion? A special recognition award presented to him by the prestigious OJEZ Group for his outstanding contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry.

The night unfolded like a perfectly scripted show, with nostalgic highlife music filling the air, reminding guests of Olumese’s golden era as the iconic founder of the famous Niteshift Coliseum. Attendees, including celebrities, business moguls, and political figures, took turns eulogising his impact on the entertainment scene, crediting him for shaping nightlife and music promotion in Nigeria.

As Olumese walked up to receive the award, the applause was thunderous.

Dressed in his signature casual ensemble, he smiled graciously, clearly moved by the honour. In his acceptance speech, he reflected on his journey, emphasising the need to preserve Nigeria’s entertainment heritage and mentor the next generation.

The event was capped with performances from music legends and rising stars, ensuring that the night was not just an award ceremony but a fitting tribute to a man who had given his all to the industry. As the celebration continued into the early hours, one thing was clear—Ken Calebs Olumese’s legacy would remain timeless.
