OID endorses Seyi Makinde for Oyo guber

AN independent group constituted by professionals from different fields tagged: Omituntun Initiative in the Diaspora, has endorsed governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Seyi Makinde, as the suitable candidate to take over the affairs of governance in Oyo State in 2019.

The group expressed confidence on Makinde, just as it described him as an outstanding character following his philanthropic gestures and humanitarian initiatives across the state and beyond.

In a release signed by the group’s national spokesperson, Ayotomiwa Adebayo, Makinde remains an epitome of good leadership and statesmanship with a vision to building a trust-based relationship with the people of Oyo State and ensure a brighter future.

Meanwhile, Makinde has congratulated members of the party on the successful ward congresses held across the state.

In a statement issued by the Seyi Makinde Organisation and signed by Prince Dotun Oyelade, Makinde said that the rancour-free ward congresses, which elected ad-hoc state and national delegates was a pointer to the maturity and unity that exist among party members.
