Ohanaeze celebrates Umahi at 58

Published by

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has congratulated Governor Dave Umahi on his 58th birthday anniversary, describing him as a “worthy son” of the Ndigbo nation.

Ohanaeze, in a press statement issued and signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Chiedozie Alex Ogbonni, observed that “the life trajectory of Your Excellency is a source of immense delight because it defines the Igbo quintessence in zero to hero enigma, purposeful transformative leadership, prudent resource management, audacious innovativeness and unassailable humble dispositions.”

The group pointed out that “a visit to Ebonyi State reveals that the entire state has been converted into a quantum construction site comprising concrete-based road networks, bridges, twin flyovers, shopping malls, modern international market, rice mill, specialist hospital, international conference centre, rural electrification, schools, churches, tourist and investors chips.”

It commended Umahi for the Ebonyi International Airport project as the “most audacious of all the projects”, saying that its proposed completion by the end of 2021 would signal unprecedented development in the state.

“The most legendary of the Umahi mystique is the unprecedented commitment to human empowerment. Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide led by Ambassador Professor George Obiozor observes with keen interest and admiration that the ongoing Ebonyi Wonders is an exceptional phenomenon that attracts the impeccable commendation by both the Umahi supporters and his detractors alike,” the statement read.
