Ogun tourism sites to witness massive

The tourism sector in Ogun State would soon be experiencing massive development, as a company based in Beverly Hills in the United States of America, Art for Peace Awards and Wisdom Lands founded by Queen Munni Irone would be undergoing the development and beautification of tourist sites spread across Ogun State.

The Ogun State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Honourable Muyiwa Oladipo, who disclosed this at Olumo Rock, Abeokuta, said that Queen Irone would be investing in the tourist sites spread across the state, adding that the huge potentials within the State have brought about the proposed investment.

“The Governor himself has said that tourism should take a better place in Nigeria, Ogun State in particular. She is an investor, we are taking her round the sites we have in the state, Olumo Rock being a foremost tourist site,  we felt that bringing her here will add colour and even make her more committed to the development of tourism. Seeing the entire site, she has seen the potentials,  some of the things we didn’t even think about earlier, like Hindus coming here to meditate is something we believe can be done,” he said.

Oladipo disclosed that the economic well being of the people of the Ogun State would definitely improve with the positive effect that would come with the investment Queen Irone would bring down to the State.

In her response, the founder of Art for Peace Awards and Wisdom Lands, Queen Munni Irone disclosed that her purpose for coming to Ogun State was to develop tourism as well as beautify the State.

“I am here because we are creating more tourism in Ogun State, we are also intending to beautify Ogun State, we have big plans, I think we will bring electricity first,  water, and we are discussing, this is a nice place for tourism, the people are not just familiar with it, this is a place I think a lot of Hindi can come and have meditations.  There is a lot of sites here that we can develop and make it easy for tourists to come here. People don’t know, they think Nigeria has nothing, so,  I want them to know that Nigeria has a lot to offer here to the world, am looking forward to making a positive change, “ she concluded.

Meanwhile, the Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi has acknowledged the efforts and determination of the founder of Art for Peace Awards and Wisdom Lands, Queen Munni Irone for her passion at ensuring peace all over the world.

He disclosed that he would make the empowerment of the people of Remoland in terms of education, infrastructure and communication a priority, adding that tourism would also be developed in Remoland.

Queen Irone in her response congratulated the Monarch on his successful installation, adding that she would continue to ensure for peace globally.
