Ogun State Government Commends Mapoly Alumni Association

The Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Her Excellency, Engr. Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele has commended the National Executive Council of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Alumni Association for their developmental agenda in support of the their Alma mata, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.

She gave the commendation when the Association National Executive Council led by her National President, Pastor Ezekiel Obasanya paid a courtesy visit to her Excellency.

She noted that Moshood Abiola Polytechnic is uppermost in the heart of the current administration adding that His excellency always put issues of the institution on priority list.

She encouraged NEC to engage more on support to the students in the areas of mentoring, endowments, projects and other forms of assistance.

Earlier in His speech, the National President of the Alumni Association, Pastor Ezekiel Obasanya appreciated the Prince Dr, Dapo Abiodun MFR led government for the immediate resolution upon assumption of office of the crisis that had engulfed the institution consequent upon the upgrading of the institution to MAUSTECH by the previous administration.

He went further to highlight the programmes of the Association which includes free eye and heart check for students, staff and host communities, sponsorship of indigent students as well as facilitating Industrial Attachment programmes for current students.

The National President of the Alumni made some requests on the government which include rehabilitation of access road to the institution, Appointment of substantive Rector and constitution of the Governing council.

The National President was accompanied by Mr. Lekan Otun (Chairman, CODA),Alhaji N, A, Gbadamosi (CODA), Alhj Biliamin Adedoyin (CODA), Chief Tunde Odeyemi (CODA), Rev. Mrs. Adeyemo (CODA), Evang. Fin, Sec), Mrs. Asisat Adebayo ( National Treasurer), Alhaja Taiwo Abbass ( Deputy National President), Mr. Alex Ogunsolu, fca ( National Secretary) and Mr. Lekan Adeosun ( Alumni relations Manager)
