Members of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Ogun State chapter, on Wednesday morning, protested against poor condition of service in the state health sector.
The doctors led by its chairman, Dr Abayomi Olajide, bemoaned lack of medical equipments, infrastructure, drugs among others for efficient and effective service delivery.
The doctors were armed with placards with various inscriptions such as “We need Ogun standard health sector”, “Doctors dying of workload”, “Extreme manpower shortage”, “Bring back our interns and NYSC doctors”, stormed the Governor’s Office, Abeokuta, to present protest letter to Senator Ibikunle Amosun.
