Ogun 2019: I’ll prioritise agriculture, youth employment, says ANRP guber candidate

GOVERNORSHIP candidate of Abundant Nigeria Redemption Party (ANRP) in Ogun State, Mr Adewale Omoniyi, said he will give priority to agriculture in the State and upgrade the various working tools of the farmers for better efficiency if voted into power in 2019.

Omoniyi gave this pledge when his campaign team visited the farmers and Hausa community at Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of the state for consultations ahead of the general elections.

Speaking on behalf of the Omoniyi Campaign Team, Chief Sanni Ajisafe, said the ANRP candidate was also poised to invent a new Ogun State where quality healthcare would be affordable, jobs would be available for the youth, security of lives and property would be guaranteed, a virile and efficient civil service put in place, among others.

According to him, the party and its candidate will approach the problem of youth unemployment with a three-pronged strategy (3Ps), saying that the strategy would deliver innovative solutions through an internship, apprenticeship and entrepreneurship.

Commending the inclusive approach of the ANRP guber candidate to all be ethnic groups in the state, the leader of the Hausa Community in Obafemi Owode, Mr Andrew Dolla and his vice, Alhaji Yahaya Umar, said the community would encourage its members to support Omoniyi ahead of other candidates in the State.
