A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State, Chief Adesina Meka Sylvanus, has called on traditional rulers, communities, opinion leaders and development unions from the local government to support the council transition committee chairperson, Rosemary Maria Ohiezu and the party in the forthcoming local government election.
He made the call during his meeting with the stakeholders of the party in the council, pointing out that the local government area under the state governor, Usman Ododo will make the desired progress.
The APC chieftain urged the people of Ogori-Magongo on behalf of Gov. Ododo, do the biddings of the APC to enable it to remain in mainstream politics of the State by voting enmass for the party.
Reacting to the collection of nomination and intent forms by the chairmanship and councillorship aspirants of the APC from Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area, the philanthropist promised to support in funding the candidates all through the process, assuring support for their success at the poll.
He promised to support the APC in the local government in actualising the campaigns before, during and after the election, describing Governor Ododo as a personality with clean heart and love by the people of Ogori-Magongo.
