OFFCUT: ‘Ladies who bill men at first date are poor,’ Nigerians react

Nigerians have reacted that ladies who tender their expenses to men on their first date are poor.

They made this known while reacting to an online poser made by Tribune Online where they were asked to give reasons women bill men on their first date.

However, Nigerians have taken to their social media accounts to give the possible reasons women do not hesitate to ‘bill’ men with their financial responsibility at their first meeting. 

A Facebook user, @Peter Ogwuche said, “They see relationship as poverty eradication affairs!”

Another Facebook user, @Emmanuel Aleogho Francis opined “Na poverty mindset dey cause am. Those real women who understand what it means to have self worth and contentment will never do so in their early period of a relationship.”

“Because of her family financial instability.” @Rasheeed Ridwan Ayomide reacted. 

@Adegoke Taiwo shared, “I witnessed such few days ago and I was astonished with surprises but I never succumbed to that , such woman only wanted to go Into a relationship for financial gain and nothing more.”

@Akinboye Samuel reacted, “Many Have Families to Cater for and they used it as Opportunity”.
