OFFCUT: Ibadan areas under Band A that would pay higher electricity fees

Nigerians have identified specific areas in Ibadan falling under Band A classification, subject to higher electricity fees.

This is in response to a post by Tribune Online across various social media platforms, prompting Nigerians to pinpoint regions in Ibadan benefiting from the 20-hour power supply.

Recall that the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Committee(NERC) gave approval for an increase in electricity tariffs for customers classified under Band A, who typically enjoy a minimum of 20 hours of electricity supply per day.

However, Nigerians have stated the areas under Band A that would pay higher electricity fees.

A Facebook user, Kazeem Adekunle Thomas said “Oluyole estate and Fodacis Adeoyo Ring Road.”

Segun Olabamigbe Godsfavour also mentioned that “Felele and New felele” would fall under this category.
