Of teachers, professionalism

Published by

THE just-concluded Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria’s (TRCN) professional qualifying examination held nationwide on October 14 is commendable.

It is a remarkable exercise in the history of teaching in Nigeria. Being the first of its kind in the annals of teaching, the  successful conduct of the examination confirms the true professionalisation of teaching, just like Law and Medicine that confer certificates on members through similar examinations.

Kudos to Professor Joshua Ajiboye and his staff.
