THE Odua Investment Company Limited is owned by the six states in the South Western part of the country. Therefore, the company’s decision to remember and celebrate Yoruba heroes and heroines in its 2019 mementoes is a step in the right direction.

In its 2019 calendar, the company details the history and exploits of late Yoruba sons and daughters like Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola, Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther, Professor Ojetunji Aboyade, Chief Adekunle Ajasin, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, Chief Daniel Olorunfemi Fagunwa, Chief (Mrs) Olufunmilayo Ransome Kuti, Chief Hubert Ogunde, Oba (Sir) Adesoji Aderemi, Christopher Alexander Sapara Williams, Duro Ladipo, Professor Jacob Ade-Ajayi, Lieutenant Colonel Francis Adekunle Fajuyi, Mr Oluyemi Kayode, Herbert Macaulay, Professor Ayodele Awojobi and Professor Taslim Olawale Elias.

The pictures of these heroes and heroines are also displayed, as it will enable Yoruba sons and daughters have an idea how their forebears looked like.

Odua Investment Company has, through this step, further etched the names of the heroes and heroines in gold.
