Ododo approves fiscal responsibility commission appointments

The Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo has approved the appointment of the Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC).

The Commission is established by the Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2007, to ensure the implementation of its provisions.

The FRC has a mandate to ensure that revenue-raising policies, resource allocation decisions, and debt management decisions are undertaken in a prudent, transparent and timely fashion as provided for in the law.

Consequently, the following persons have been appointed as members of the Kogi State Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC).

Mr. Jimoh Muhammed Adinoyi, is appointed as Chairman; Engr. Ayowande Pemi Kogi West Commissioner; Mr. Yahaya Drisu Kogi East Commissioner; Muhammed Musa Kogi Central Commissioner; Ayodeji Emmanuel Esq. Secretary and Tom Abutu – Representative of Labour- Member; Amb Idris Muraina Ozovehe – Representative of civil society organisation-Member; Mr Femi Ajisafe- Representative of Organised Private Sector-Member; Permanent Secretary Finance and Member and Permanent Secretary Ministry of Justice -Member.
