The Kobowore of Odo Jobore in Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Olufemi Olalekan Ogunbanjo, has promised to work in peace with the people of the community and bring even development and stability to the town.
Oba Ogunbanjo, who recently got a recognition from the paramount ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona as the Kobowore of Odo Jobore, commended the Awujale and Ijebu Traditional Council for their support and promised to justify the confidence reposed in him.
The traditional ruler made the promise during a meeting with indigenes of the community both at home and in the Diaspora, saying he will continue to promote the legacies of his predecessors.
The monarch maintained that priority will be given to the unity and development of the people.
He enjoined the people of the community to rally him in the discharge of his onerous responsibilities as a king and forge ahead to meet the challenges of the future.
Oba Ogunbanjo thanked the kingmakers for their contributions to the success of his installation.
“I thank all those who have contributed in one way or the other such as kingmakers, ruling houses, local government, Odo Jobore Community Development Association and the state for their support”, adding that it is time to unite and develop the community.
