Members of the Oodua Descendant Freight Forwarders Association (ODFFA) have been charged to register with the Council for the Regulations of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), as the membership registration numbers issued by CRFFN will be used to process port-pass by the necessary authority in the port.
The founder of ODFFA, Prince Segun Adefioye, gave the charge while inaugurating the new executive of the association at PTML Port in Apapa, Lagos recently.

Prince Segun Adefioye, who is also the Vice Chairman of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), PTML Chapter, noted that the CRFFN membership registration became necessary for ODFFA members because of its relevance to their profession.
Adefioye implored all members of ODFFA who are also members of NAGAFF to participate actively in all NAGAFF activities and advised the new executive members of ODFFA to work for the progress and development of their members and that of the freight forwarding profession.
The new chairman of the association, Mr Mutiu Ipadeola Akinyode promised to work towards the growth of his members in the freight forwarding sector in the nation’s seaports and airports.
He noted that he and other members of the executive would synergise with all government agencies in the port toward improving freight forwarding business in the country. He added that training and re-training of all ODFFA members would be given adequate attentions.
Other executive members were Mr. Jacob Ikuomola, Vice Chairman; Mr. Adewumi Adeparusi, Secretary; Mrs. Funke Kashimawo, Assistant Secretary; Mrs. Adesola Ajalekoko, Treasurer; Mr. Adewale Fatokun, Financial Secretary and Mr. Olajide Sodipo as the Public Relations Officer.
