Marking a decade since their graduation, the 2014 Set of Oritamefa Baptist Model School (OBMS) Ring Road, Ibadan, returned to their alma mater with a powerful message for the current students: “Chase your dreams”. Represented by Qazeem Oladejo, Akinwunmi Bolanle, and Dr. Gbemisola Odukoya, the alumni were warmly received by both staff and students in an atmosphere filled with nostalgia and inspiration. Using his own journey as an example, he stressed the importance of resilience in the face of challenges, urging students to embrace learning opportunities, seek mentorship, and remain focused on their goals. He reminded them that dreams, no matter how big, are attainable with hard work and determination.

In the goodwill message, Akinwunmi Bolanle spoke candidly about her personal career journey, reassuring the students that while the road to success is not always smooth, perseverance and consistency ultimately yield rewarding results. She emphasized the value of patience, discipline, and continuous self-improvement. Similarly, Dr. Gbemisola Odukoya shared her experiences in the medical field, encouraging students with a passion for healthcare to remain focused and dedicated. “To be a medical doctor requires focus. If you dream it, you can achieve it,” she said, motivating those with career aspirations in various fields to stay committed to their ambitions.
