In a rare and insightful rendezvous, maverick entertainer and social activist Charly Boy, also known as Area Father, paid a visit to former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo, at his residence in Abeokuta recently.

The meeting, characterized by an atmosphere of mutual respect and admiration, saw Charly Boy expressing his deep appreciation for elderly individuals who maintain their youthful vigor and creativity.

According to Charly Boy, tapping into this well of vitality is the key to transcending the limitations typically associated with aging.

Reflecting on his time spent with former President Obasanjo, Charly Boy expressed how each interaction with the elder statesman rekindled his own youthful energy and zest for life.

He credited Obasanjo’s vibrant mind, talents, and unwavering commitment to serving others as sources of inspiration that continue to invigorate him.

He emphasized the importance of fostering environments where individuals of all ages can learn from each other, exchange ideas, and collaborate on endeavors that enrich their lives and communities.

“I love elderly people especially the ones that have managed to maintain their youthfulness.

For me, it is their mind, their talents, the creativity they bring to your life and the lives of the people they love.

“When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age. Every time I spend with Baba, he somehow activates the Boy in me.”
