Obiano mourns Prof Ben Nwabueze, commiserates with family

A former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, on Wednesday commiserated with the people of Ogbaru, Anambra and indeed, the entire Igbo race over the demise of a legal luminary,  Prof.  Ben Nwabueze.
Obiano in a condolence message issued by his Media and Publicity Adviser, Mr Tony Nezianya, also commiserated with his family.
According to him, the late Prof Nwabueze’s contributions to the development of Constitutional law in our country will always be remembered.
”We are deeply saddened by the news of his passing. Prof Ben Nwabueze’s dedication to upholding the principles of justice and his unwavering commitment to protecting the rights of individuals have left an indelible mark on our legal system.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
“Obiano described the late legal icon as a visionary scholar who fearlessly championed the cause of constitutional democracy in Nigeria.
