Obi Cubana leaves EFCC custody 24 hours after arrest

A popular socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu, better known as Obi Cubana, who was arrested in Abuja by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Monday, has regained his freedom barely 24 hours after his arrest. 

Though allegations against Obi Cubana were sketchy, but a source disclosed that his case bordered on alleged money laundering and tax fraud. 

A social media user, Instigator_ph, disclosed this via Instagram on Tuesday. 

“Thank u Jesus!! @obi_cubana is free. We gat Jesus!!! . Dis Dance is for all my fans. I love u all,” the user wrote. 

Cubana himself confirmed this when he also wrote on Instagram: “I love you all… Unbroken”.
