The event, preceded the installation held last Saturday. Other leading gospel musicians such as Evangelists Bisi Alawiye-Aluko, Bukola Akinade (a.k.a Senwele Jesu), Esther Igbekele, Kenny Ologoara, Ayan Jesu, among others performed at the event.
The venue came to alive, when Obey and his band ‘stormed’ the stage with dishing out evergreen tunes.
Obey had earlier congratulated the prophet on his appointment as the new general evangelist, just as he prayed that God grant him the grace and wisdom to manage the new position.
“I want to charge everyone, especially the authorities, clerics and members of CAC to support Prophet Oladeji, in order to achieve a common goal in the body of Christ. I want to appreciate the gospel musicians for their endless support for the great prophet; I want you all not to relent, because he needs our prayers and support now. I pray God will be with him always. Congratulations once again to my dear prophet,” he stated.
The last performance was electrifying as Evangelist Bola Are rendered a series of her gospel oldies.
