Olusegun Obasanjo
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has denied involvement in any plane incident at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos on Wednesday.
Spokesperson to the former President, Kehinde Akinyemi who stated this in a conversation with the British Broadcasting Corporation, added that Obasanjo did not travel and was at his Abeokuta, Ogun state residence.

The media was awash on Wednesday with reports that Obasanjo was among passengers on an Ethiopian airline which had challenges landing at the Lagos airport, on Wednesday.
To affirm that all was well with Obasanjo, Akinyemi increased the volume of his telephone for the BBC reporter to hear Obasanjo’s voice who said, “I did not board any plane to travel anywhere. I am in my house.”
