Obasanjo, Buhari crisis, ‘sh*thole’ ―Jerry Gana

FORMER Minister of State for Education, Professor Jerry Gana, has described as shame and a total disgrace to the nation the face-off between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Muhammadu Buhari.

Professor Agada who spoke to our correspondent noted that the crisis between the two leaders has further confirmed the US president, Donald Trump insult describing Nigeria as ‘sh*thole’.

The former national president of Association of Nigerian Author, ANA said the allegation by former President Olusegun Obasanjo accusing President Buhari’s administration was weighty and should be looked into.

Obasanjo had said the government was planning to use fake documents and witnesses against him to perfect the plan of incarcerating him.

He said that the face off if not urgently nipped in the bud may threaten the nation’s nascent democracy.

“As a former President and Military Head of State, Obasanjo knows his onions and he has his own security apparatus and can get any desirable and undesirable information from whatever quarters.

“So, am not in the position to say what he (OBJ) was saying is true or false but what am saying is that, for the mere fact that, this has been said about Nigeria state, is very shameful and disgraceful.

Also speaking on the statement of Minister of Defence, Monsur Dan-Ali calling for the suspension of Benue anti-open grazing law, Agada said the Minister’s comment on killer herdsmen as a close ally of Buhari, clearly shows the Minister of Defence have been contracted by some cabals to work against the APC and Buhari led government.
